Gold fill is a durable, affordable alternative to solid gold. It is a thick layer of gold pressure-bonded to another metal. Most of our chains are gold filled as it wears well against skin without easily tarnishing.

Gold vermeil ('ver-may') is a heavy, long-lasting layer of 14k gold over sterling silver. Vermeil is a great choice if you have sensitivities to base metals.
With proper care, both gold fill and gold vermeil pieces will last a long time.
With a little tender loving care, our handmade jewelry will stay happy and bright.
Avoid wearing gold vermeil & gold fill pieces in the shower or pool.
Remove jewelry when applying lotions, perfumes, hand-sanitizer or using cleaning products.
Keep opals dry, avoid exposure to moisture to prevent colour from dulling.
